The Unicorns brought home some hardware this past weekend! This past Saturday the Unicorn Band attended its first contest of the 2023 marching season, competing against some great bands at The Seguin Marching Festival. The band and walked away with Outstanding Percussion caption awards in both prelims and finals, 1st Place in class 6A in prelims, and received 1st Place in finals and was awarded Grand Champion for the Festival! Congratulations to our friends from Stevens and San Marcos on their amazing performances, and to all the bands who performed, and thank you to our friends from Seguin for hosting a great contest. Such a great beginning to our contest season. This is only the beginning! We were so excited to finally have had an opportunity to present our production for judges and spectators, and we couldn't be more proud and excited about the results.
