This coming Saturday the Unicorn Band will be attending its second contest of the 202 marching season. We are so excited to continue our journey, and hope to see you all there. Below, you will find all the information you need regarding our first competition of the season.

Itenerary:

This is a prelims/finals performance, which means that there are several possibilities regarding our schedule. If the band does well, there is a possibility that we might advance to finals, which means we could potentially perform twice this Saturday. Below is the tentative schedule for each scenario.

Prelims Schedule:

• 7:30am - Band Hall Opens
• 8:00am - Run Through
• 9:00am - Breakfast (Provided)/Dress/Load
• 10:00am - Depart for Gupton Stadium
• 12:00am - ETA @ Gupton Stadium
• 1:15pm - Official Warm Up Time
• 2:15pm - Official Performance Time
• 2:30pm - Lunch (Provided)
• 5:20pm - Retreat/Awards
• 5:45pm - Dinner (Provided)*

If we make finals:

• 7:00pm - Final Begins
• 10:15pm - Finals Retreat/Awards
• 11:15pm - Depart Vista Ridge
• 1:15am - ETA @ NBHS
• 1:45am - Student Dismissed

*If we make finals and perform early, dinner will be served after the performance

If we do not make finals:

• 6:15pm - Depart Vista Ridge
• 8:15pm - ETA @ NBHS
• 9:30pm - Student Dismissed

Admission:

Prices and information for spectators

1) Ticket Prices: **All-Day tickets (In & Out)** No Discounts for seniors

• $15.00 for adults
• $5.00 for K-12 students and college students with a valid school ID
• Children Pre-K and under are free

2.) Ice chests and outside food/drink are not allowed in the stadium.

Souvenirs:

2021 Vista Ridge Marching Festival T-shirts, and other Festival merchandise will be available on the home side, outside the entrance gates. Look for the PepWear Tent!

Restrooms:

Restrooms are located on both sides of the stadium.

Concessions:

Students will be provided with breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but are encouraged to bring money for concessions as well so they can snack during down time. Vista Ridge concession stands offer a wide selection of food options for students and their families.

Passes:

We will be given 25 field passes for staff and pit crew, which can be used for field access only. We cannot go into the home side stands without a wristband. If parents/chaperones would like to access the home side of the stadium, a general admission wristband must be purchased. The visitor’s side of the stadium is free to all bus drivers, chaperones, and volunteers. Restrooms and concessions will be open on both sides.
